Searching the meaning of Thallasocratie society during the prehistoric times in the Philippines made me learned that they
are not just the

Badjao people also known as sea dwellers are a good example of Thallasocratic society. They found themselves a life near the water and started to live a life there. However, these people also made a big contribution about Architecture that most people don’t know. During those times the badjao houses are considered architecture for being collective initiative. Badjao consider design to a communal practice. They built their houses made out wood and debris from the coastal and they placed them in between coastal rocks and coral so that no wildlife is harmed as they set their foundations. And as we all know Architecture is also all about adaptability on how buildings or structure could adapt its surroundings. And the Badjao Houses has shown us that it could adapt productively to its surrounding, to its environment. And if we were to look in today’s times we could see that these houses are also being used and is modernized by our society, and used to beautify tourist locations to revive or make use of what the Badjao people started, to let the history we live on remains.
