In the great gatsby some literary devices that were in the story were, Onomatopoeia,
Foreshadowing, and symbolism. One of the literary devices that had impacted the story was
symbolism, due to the fact that the green light in the great gatsby symbolized how close Gatsby
is to reaching his dream of getting the girl he liked back.
