ACT 1
Narrator: Once upon a time in a village in Tanimbar Island, live a wealthy family. Mrs. Rosa and her
husband has 2 children named Markus and Rio. Both becoming adults who lived full of wealthiness
because their parents always fulfill everything they asked. They become a disobeyed and disrespectful to
all their maids. One day, Markus seems annoyed. He felt annoyed at their maids who has not serve his
food.
Markus: omg christoper, what are you doing in this house? It’s evening already and there is no warm water
for me to take shower, there is no cookies for my coffee too. O Christoper ee, can you just come here?
Christoper: O my master, please don’t get mad at me. I just back and forth taking the water for you, and
there is no one sell cookies.
Markus: shut your mouth up! You lie! (Markus push Christoper until Christoper fell to the ground), you’re
just a servant, just work well! (Markus left Christoper crying)
ACT 2
Narrator: After few months later, their father passed away. That makes their father’s wealthiness become
theirs. Rio and Markus becoming more disrespectful to other people. Because of that, Christoper finally
resign and left their family.
Christoper: O my master, I cannot work here anymore, I will leave this house, I cannot handle your attitude
to me, that is why I want to leave this house.
Rio: so do you want to leave? Do you want to die? I don’t care. I’m happy instead. You never work well so I
don’t care.
Markus: but you have to remember one thing. When you leave this house, you shouldn’t take anything
from this house and we will not be going to give your salary for this month.
Narrator: Christoper then leave the house. Since that time, their mother is the one who do all the chores
for Christoper.
ACT 3
Narrator: One late afternoon, Rio was sitting in the living room while monitoring her mother mopping the
floor.
Rio: heyy Rosalina, mop perfectly, it’s still dirty here. You also haven’t washed the dishes. After this you
have to cook my dinner. (Rio then go and kick the bucket)
Mama Rosa: (Mama Rosa just look down while wiping her tears)
Narrator: In the night, after her children went to sleep, Mrs. Rosa pray to God.
Mama Rosa: O God, please forgive me, I cannot handle my children, I cannot teach them how to behave, O
God, please open their hearts so that they become more respectful and kinder person.
ACT 4
Narrator: Tomorrow later, Markus and Rio wake up, they then go to the dining room and found nothing on
the table.
Rio: why the hell there is nothing here? Where is that stupid old woman?
Markus: she must be in the river washing clothes, let’s follow her there.
Rio: okay, let’s go there and threat her.
Narrator: Arriving in the river, they saw their mother washing the clothes. They then approaching her.
Without asking, Markus then kick the bucket filled with clothes until it fell to the river. Rio also pull her
mother to stand harshly.
Mama Rosa: O my God, what happen here? Why do you guys treat me like this? (crying)
Rio: heeyy old woman, I haven’t eaten yet, I’m starving, why don’t you cook for us? (slap their mother)
Mama Rosa: my dear son, I’m washing our clothes, please forgive me (still crying)
Narrator: Rio keep hitting her mother, but then one of their neighbours suddenly walk passing them and
see how Rio and Markus treat their mother.
Mr. Parto: heyyy you both are a very disrespectful children, why are you both treating your mother like
that? (approaching Rio and Markus)
Rio: heeyyy just don’t give a damn about us, give a damn about your family (shouted Rio)
Mr. Parto: okay okay, I have told you to not treating your mother like that or something bad will come to
both of you, just wait and see.
Narrator: Mr. Parto then left them. Meanwhile, Rio keep hurting her mother and Markus was just standing
and looking at his mother hit by his younger brother. Until finally Rio push her mother to the ground
weakly and stop crying so sudden, her mother then says something slowly.
Mama Rosa: your father has left so much wealthiness but that will not be going to last longer. Although I
was giving birth to both of you, but from now on, you two are not my children anymore. I will not be going
back to that house anymore, you can do whatever you like to do, I don’t care.
Narrator: After saying that to her children, Mrs. Rosa then walk and left them to the big stone beside the
river then say to the stone..
Mama Rosa: O big stone, please open so that I can get in, please make me as scented as manor flower.
Narrator: Not long after that, the stone is suddenly opened and Mrs. Rosa walk to the inside of the stone.
Some jasmine flowers then suddenly appear around the stone.
ACT 5
Narrator: Few days later, because the people around Rio and Markus cannot handle their bad attitude, the
people finally agree to chase away Rio and Markus and took all the things in their house to share to poor
people. They feel regret of treating their mother harshly, they then went to the stone where there their
mother in and sobbing so that they can follow their mother inside the stone but the stone won’t be
opened and closed forever.

ACT 1
Narator: Dahulu kala di sebuah desa di Pulau Tanimbar, hiduplah sebuah keluarga kaya raya. Mama Rosa
dan suaminya memiliki 2 anak bernama Markus dan Rio. Keduanya menjadi orang dewasa yang hidup
berkecukupan karena orang tuanya selalu memenuhi segalanya. Suatu hari, Markus tampak kesal. Ia
merasa kesal pada pelayan mereka yang belum menyajikan makanannya.
Markus: omg christoper, apa yang kamu lakukan di rumah ini? Ini sudah malam dan tidak ada air hangat
untuk saya mandi, tidak ada kue untuk kopi saya juga. O Christoper ee, bisakah kamu datang ke sini?!
Christoper: O tuanku, tolong jangan marah padaku. Saya hanya bolak-balik mengambil air untukmu, dan
tidak ada yang menjual kue.
Markus: tutup mulutmu! Kamu berbohong! (Markus mendorong Christoper sampai Christoper jatuh ke
tanah), kamu hanya seorang pelayan, bekerjalah dengan baik! (Markus meninggalkan Christoper
menangis)
ACT 2
Narator: Setelah beberapa bulan kemudian, ayah mereka meninggal dunia. Itu membuat kekayaan ayah
mereka menjadi milik mereka. Rio dan Markus semakin tidak menghormati orang lain. Karena itu,
Christoper akhirnya mengundurkan diri dan meninggalkan keluarganya.
Christoper: O tuanku, saya tidak bisa bekerja di sini lagi, saya akan meninggalkan rumah ini. saya tidak bisa
menangani sikapmu terhadap saya, itu sebabnya saya mau meninggalkan rumah ini.
Rio: jadi kamu mau pergi? kamu mau mati? Saya tidak peduli. Saya malah senang. Kamu tidak pernah
bekerja dengan baik jadi saya tidak peduli.
Markus: tapi kamu harus ingat satu hal. Ketika kamu meninggalkan ini rumah, kamu tidak boleh mengambil
apa pun dari rumah ini dan kami tidak akan pergi untuk memberikan gaji kamu untuk bulan ini.
Narator: Christoper kemudian meninggalkan rumah. Sejak saat itu, ibu merekalah yang melakukan semua
tugas untuk Christoper.
ACT 3
Narator: Suatu sore, Rio sedang duduk di ruang tamu sambil mengawasi ibunya mengepel lantai.
Rio: hai Rosalina, pel dengan baik, masih kotor di sini. Kamu juga belum mencuci piring-piring. Setelah ini,
kamu harus memasak makan malamku. (Rio lalu pergi dan tendang keranjang)
Mama Rosa : (Mama Rosa hanya menunduk sambil menyeka air matanya)
Narator: Malam harinya, setelah anak-anaknya tidur, Mama Rosa berdoa kepada Tuhan.
Mama Rosa: Ya Tuhan, tolong maafkan saya, saya tidak bisa menangani anak-anak saya, saya tidak bisa
mengajari mereka bagaimana berperilaku, ya Tuhan, tolong bukakan hati mereka agar mereka menjadi
orang yang lebih hormat dan baik hati.
ACT 4
Narator: Besoknya Markus dan Rio bangun, mereka lalu pergi ke ruang makan dan tidak menemukan apa
pun di atas meja.
Rio: kenapa tidak ada apa-apa di sini? Di mana wanita tua bodoh itu?
Markus: dia pasti sedang mencuci pakaian di sungai, ayo ikuti dia kesana.
Rio: oke, ayo pergi ke sana dan ancam dia.
Narator: Sesampainya di sungai, mereka melihat ibu mereka sedang mencuci pakaian. Mereka kemudian
mendekatinya. Tanpa bertanya, Markus kemudian menendang ember berisi pakaian hingga jatuh ke
sungai. Rio pun menarik ibunya agar berdiri dengan kasar.
Mama Rosa: Ya Tuhan, apa yang terjadi di sini? Kenapa kalian memperlakukanku seperti ini? (menangis)
Rio: heeyy wanita tua, aku belum makan, aku lapar, kenapa kamu tidak memasak untuk kami? (menampar
ibu mereka)
Mama Rosa: anakku sayang, aku sedang mencuci baju, tolong maafkan aku (masih menangis)
Narator: Rio terus memukuli ibunya, tapi kemudian salah satu tetangga mereka tiba-tiba berjalan melewati
mereka dan melihat bagaimana Rio dan Markus memperlakukan ibu mereka.
Pak Parto : hai kalian berdua adalah anak yang sangat tidak sopan, kenapa memperlakukan ibumu seperti
itu? (mendekati Rio dan Markus)
Rio: heeyyy jangan pedulikan kami, pedulikan keluargamu (teriak Rio).
Pak Parto: oke oke, saya sudah bilang jangan memperlakukan ibumu seperti itu atau sesuatu yang buruk
akan menimpa kalian berdua, tunggu dan lihat saja.
Narator: Pak Parto kemudian meninggalkan mereka. Sementara itu, Rio terus menyakiti ibunya dan Markus
hanya berdiri memandangi ibunya yang dipukul oleh adiknya. Sampai akhirnya Rio mendorong ibunya ke
tanah, dengan lemah dan tiba-tiba berhenti menangis, ibunya kemudian mengatakan sesuatu dengan
pelan.
Mama Rosa: ayahmu telah mewariskan begitu banyak kekayaan tapi itu tidak akan bertahan lama. Meski
aku melahirkan kalian berdua, tapi mulai sekarang, kalian berdua bukan anakku lagi. Aku tidak akan
kembali ke rumah itu lagi, kamu dapat melakukan apa pun yang kamu suka, aku tidak peduli.
Narator: Setelah mengatakan hal itu kepada anak-anaknya, Mama Rosa lalu berjalan meninggalkan mereka
menuju tempat batu besar dipinggir sungai lalu katakan pada batu..
Mama Rosa : Wahai batu besar, tolong bukakan agar aku bisa masuk, tolong jadikan aku seharum bunga
manor.
Narator: Tak lama kemudian, tiba-tiba batu itu terbuka dan Mama Rosa berjalan ke bagian dalam batu itu.
Beberapa bunga melati kemudian tiba-tiba muncul di sekitar batu.
ACT 5
Beberapa hari kemudian, karena orang-orang di sekitar Lisbet dan Markus tidak tahan dengan sikap buruk
mereka, akhirnya orang-orang setuju untuk mengusir Lisbet dan Markus dan mengambil semua barang
yang ada di rumah mereka untuk dibagikan kepada orang miskin. Mereka merasa menyesal telah
memperlakukan ibu mereka dengan kasar, mereka kemudian pergi ke batu tempat ibu mereka berada dan
menangis tersedu-sedu agar mereka dapat mengikuti ibu mereka di dalam batu itu tetapi batu itu tidak
akan terbuka dan tertutup selamanya.
