Overview
As part of our continuous product improvement, Cooper has
upgraded valves used in Ajax integral engine compressors.
Old compressor valves may still be running, but there are high
chances they cost your compressor power and efficiency.
Retrofitting with new poppet valves can result in significant
operational improvement.
Poppet valves deliver the highest efficiency of any valve design.
Compared to conventional plate, channel or strip valves, poppet
valves offer significant fuel or horsepower savings through more
efficient and reliable operation.

Interchangeability
Poppet valves can be applied to all sizes of integral engine
compressor cylinders (except forged steel cylinders).
Using computerized tools, we can model and evaluate the
current operating conditions and, in many cases, recommend
modifications to the existing valve design to maximize efficiency,
horsepower and throughput.
