CLASSFICATION ESSAY
Food classifications have been made in different ways. The main classification of food is
unhealthy food (fast food and junk food) and healthy food. As you can see, this is a more
generalized way to classify all types of food. Although, there has always been a confusion between
fast food and junk food. There are several differences between these types of food.
We must first know their differences. Fast food is a type of food you get from a restaurant
designed to deliver the order in the quickest possible way. In other hand, Junk food is food with
extremely low nutritional value, sometimes called rich in empty calories. Although, it was believed
that both were the same, fast food has a nutritional value compared to junk food. Meanwhile, there
are examples of fast foods that are junk food such as fries, hamburgers, nuggets, among others.
Speaking about healthy food, most people prefer junk food. Even though, healthy food is
rich in protein and healthy fats. If you ask, which one is better from the taste point of view, the
battle between healthy food and junk food never ends. Mindful eaters might argue that nutritional
food items are tastier too but when it comes to choosing between the two, junk food always win the
race. We can kill our mid-day hunger pangs with an apple or a fistful of nuts, but most of us end
nibbling upon a pile of French fries or pizza and even guzzle down fizzy drinks.
To conclude, fast and junk food among the types of meals are the most accepted. Despite
the fact that it is bad for health, the consumption of this type of food is still chosen. Leaving healthy
food aside. In a few words it can be said that food is classified as healthy and unhealthy.
