I just realized something if angel's technique is to extinguish other techniques then her reverse

technique MUST be to fuel other people technique's. One of the obligations of an Angel is to
serve as an intermediaries between god and humanity. my guess is that "god" in JJK is the
cursed environment humans inhabit, which mean all angels including sukuna (probably) have
the ability to interact directly with "god". Depending on the religion their tasks might vary but a
fundamental one is to save people who are in perilous times, and who is right now in perilous
times? No one else other than Itadori Yuuji.

The Angels, spiritual beings that receive the orders of the Lord and act according to them.
These beings of a nature higher than ours exist among us, are an intermediary between us and
God. Their existence in the world of JJK might be disputable but one clear thing is that during
the Heian Era, one character called him/herself an “Angel”, this one being no other than Hana
Kurusu’s reincarnated sorcerer, Angel.

Angel’s beliefs center all around “God” and she believes reincarnated sorcerers are essentially a
sin to the laws of God. But it produces two rather interesting questions what/who is God? And
What are the laws?

What/Who is God?

In JJK, the world of a sorcerer boils down to one thing and one thing only, Cursed Energy, the
energy that flows from people’s negative emotions, the one thing that allows the existence of
Curses, the one thing that allows the usage of Cursed Techniques, Shikigamis, Barriers and Seals
it’s absolute and that is Cursed Energy. Now, Japan being the epicenter of cursed energy and
Jujutsu around the world has developed a rich ecosystem that only exists there, it’s unique and
has been during centuries. Japanese sorcerers, users of cursed energy, acknowledge this and
respect it, but some want to go even further to such lengths as to either want to possess it or
protect it. This is where Angel falls into place.

Angel as a sorcerer, not only respects the existence of Japan’s ecosystem but also wants to
protect it and avoid the alteration of its flow.

The Alteration of Japan’s Ecosystem.

There’s only one instance that clearly showcases the abrupt change of the cursed environment
that exists in Japan, the Birth of Gojo Satoru.

As a user of both the Six Eyes and Limitless, Satoru represented an unbalance for the Cursed
Ecosystem in Japan, and to bring order to the Ecosystem, Curses started to become stronger.
This of course is a natural instance since the six eyes, The Star Plasma Vessel and Tengen are
related by fate, The existence of Gojo was to say unavoidable for the environment.
But there’s also unnatural ways of affecting it, The reincarnation of sorcerers. When a person
dies, they release their cursed energy, this includes even non-sorcerers who at their moment of
death release small amounts of Cursed Energy. But Reincarnated Sorcerers are exempt of this
fate, they preserve their Cursed Energy, and they also skip the cycle of life and death in the
world. They prolong their fate and laugh at the Ecosystem as they not only don’t give back but
also take away from the environment as they destroy their vessel’s consciousness.

The One who wants it all.

I’ve already talked about how Reincarnations alter the flow of Cursed Energy around Japan, but
I have yet to talk about the person that seeks to bent it around his will. The Undisputed King of
Curses, The Fallen One and mighty cursed Spirit Ryomen Sukuna.

As we’ve seen all along the series, Sukuna has been presented to us, as someone with a deep
understanding of Jujutsu, someone who has gone so far inside it and has showcased feats that
are considered divine in this world. He is selfish, arrogant, sadistic and cold-hearted. His whole
existence could probably be considered the one of a devil whose whole purpose is to bring
chaos into the world.

Angel could probably not careless about it, if it wasn’t for two things; He has reincarnated and
as such altered the flow of Cursed Energy, and second, His understanding of Jujutsu is a threat
to the ecosystem. Sukuna is named The Fallen one by Angel not because he became a cursed
spirit, or he might have fallen down the stairs. It’s because he doesn’t abide to the laws of the
ecosystem, he believes he is above everything and everyone and that includes God.

The Laws of God.

It’s time to tackle a tough question, what are the laws of God for Angel. If we investigate
Judaism and Christianism, we could refer to the 10 commandments on the Bible:

- I am the LORD thy God

- No other gods before me
- No graven images or likenesses
- Not take the LORD's name in vain
- Remember the sabbath day
- Honour thy father and thy mother
- Thou shalt not kill
- Thou shalt not commit adultery
- Thou shalt not steal
- Thou shalt not bear false witness
- Thou shalt not covet

Each one of these commandments have been “written with the finger of God” and while it’s
unsure that Angel’s beliefs are aligned with Judaism or Christianism, the laws that she abides to
might take inspiration of them due to how open is the room for interpretation for the 10
commandments. I will now tackle how a few of them relate to angel’s beliefs and their
meaning.

- No other gods before me: In Abrahamic religions, it refers to the sin of worshipping
another God. I have already said that for Angel, God is the Cursed Ecosystem in Japan,
after all in no other place has been produced constantly such miracles as sorcerers and I
will say this again: Japan’s cursed ecosystem is unique and there is no other thing as it.
For Angel, anyone that attempts to be above this ecosystem is a sinner and must be
punished as such.
- No graven images or likenesses:
- Thou shalt not steal: For non-Jewish traditions this might mean the unauthorized taking
of private property, but from a Jewish perspective it’s been interpreted to refer to the
stealing of an actual human being, or to kidnap. The act of reincarnation is oddly similar
to what is written here, not in the sense of kidnapping but stealing, it’s the robbery of
the vessel’For Angel, the destruction of a vessel’s consciousness and the reincarnation of
a sorcerer through this means is a sin.
