Republic of the DWirpiees Department of €ducation Region IV-A CALABARZON SCHOOLS DIVISION OF LIPA CITY 11 JAN 2023 Division Memorandum No. lds. 2023 2023 DEPED LIPA CITY PROJECT SEAL: SPORTS EXCELLENCE AMONG LIPENOS To: — OIC-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent School Governance and Operations Division Curriculum Implementation Division OSDS Unit Heads Public and Private Elementary and Secondary School Heads All Others Concerned 1. __ In the continuing effort of DepEd Lipa City to uplift the competitiveness and sports prowess of the Lipefto student-athletes, this Division releases the schedule of the different sports activities of the Division under the local sports program, Project SEAL: Sports Excellence Among Lipefios. 2. __ This project aims to expose potential athletes in various competitions under the Department of Education; provide technical support to schools in terms of sports program implementation; provide training for athletes and coaches; come up with pool of athletes to compose the division selection for the higher competitions; and recognize hard works and accomplishments through awards, recognitions, and incentives. 3. Enclosed is the Calendar of Activities for reference. The small school is given one-day schedule of school intramurals while big and integrated schools both in elementary and secondary are given two days of school intramurals. District Meet shall have only a maximum of three days. A letter of information stating the dates of the school intramurals and district meets shall be submitted together with the school sports program and Annual Implementation Plan stating the conduct of the sports activities. 4. _ Teachers, school heads and division personnel who have rendered services on weekends during school intramurals, district meets and division sports competition shall _be given service credit and compensatory time-off (CTO), respectively. Certification of attendance with daily time record (DTR) and signed by the principal and district supervisor shall be submitted to the Human Resource Management Office to credit the service. 5. _ It is hereby reiterated that this Office still reminds the field on the adherence to DepEd Order No. 34, s. 2022 entitled School Calendar and Activities for the School Year 2022-2023. vision of Lipa City Division of Lipa Cis ‘Address: JP Laurel Highway, Brgy.
