FUNDAMENTALS

(MULTIPLICATION)
There was no denying that Mathematics is among the most disliked subjects for
students. The big question is why? Is there a problem with the subject or the teaching
or in the student’s mind?
Alarmed also with the current problem of non mastery in basic facts, school’s low
performance in Mathematics and many non numerates I come up to make or do this
PROJECT 4F’S AND PROJECT ALL NUMERATES. This project aims to increase
the school’s performance when it comes to Mathematics and to reduce the number of
non numerates.
Also, mastery of the basic Math facts is very essential in the teaching of Mathematics
in elementary level. If the foundation isn’t there, the student’s will struggle in class.
This is why different activities were conducted to encourage and develop the love of
the pupils in Math and to build a strong foundation.
Math Club Officers conducted different activities for different grade level. Children
enjoyed having flashcards through games. We also have rolling pantry where different
learning activities and materials were put.
Hindi natin maitatanggi na Mathematics is among the most disliked subjects for
students. Ang tanong bakit? Is there a problem with the subject or the teaching or in
the student’s mind?

PROJECT 4F’S AND PROJECT ALL NUMERATES. Layunin ng proyektong ito na mapataas
ang performance ng paaralan sa Mathematics at mabawasan o mapababa ang bilang ng
mga non numerates. And of course mas maayos kung maalis na talaga natin.
Isa pa, napakahalagang ma memorize ng mga bata lalo na sa lower grades ang basic
Math facts. If the foundation isn’t there, the students will struggle in class. Kaya naman
sa tulong ng School Learning Action Cell sa pangunguna ng aming punongguro, Mga
kasamang guro at mga officers ng Mathematics Club, nag conduct kami ng ibat ibang
activities para sa different grade level. Mayroon kaming NUMERACY ON WHEELS kung
saan ang mga learning materials ay inihahatid na mismo sa mga bata upang kanilang
magamit at mapag aralan. Nag ka-conduct din kami ng mga palaro para sa mga bata.
This way, ma eenyoy ng mga bata ang MATHEMATICS habang silay naglalaro. Namigay
din kami ng ibat ibang worksheets para sa mga bata. The collaborative effort of the
school, parents and community will surely give a positive result.
