ArChine AC-9907-68
DESCRIPTION:
ArChine AC-9907-68 is heat stable polymers formulated for negligible solubility or dilution in contact with
normal hydrocarbon liquids or vapors. Additives enhance stability and provide resistance to corrosion.
Compressors:
The ability of this lubricant to withstand dilution by hydrocarbon gases is particularly advantageous in
compressors handling high concentrations of hexane and gasoline vapors. Lubrication is improved through
resistance to loss in viscosity, Volumetric Efficiency is improved by reducing recompression and a higher
operating viscosity.
For use in rotary compressors to improve performance with hydrocarbon gasses, including alkylene, and
heavier hydrocarbon gasses, inert and certain chemical gasses. The lubricant does not promote the
dimerisation of butadiene or generate solid deposits.
Reciprocating compressors benefit from resistance to wash off from cylinders and excellent antiwear and
extreme pressure performance. Used in high pressure reciprocating compressors pumping natural gas, a wide
variety of hydrocarbon gasses, carbon dioxide, or process gases. A very high degree of resistance to
hydrocarbon dilution and absorption by the gas stream resists “wash off” from cylinder walls. Lubricant
carryover will not impair well formation as it is compatible with well-bore treatment fluids and soluble in water.
Other applications: Bearing Lubricant. Gear Lubricant, Seal Lubricant (generally lower viscosity grades).
Soluble with water. Excellent stability. Little or no effect on most synthetic or natural rubber compounds.
