WHAT IS
VMWARE?

VMWARE
VMware is a virtualization and cloud computing
software provider based in Palo Alto, Calif. Founded in
1998, VMware is a subsidiary of Dell Technologies.
VMware software allows you to run a virtual computer on
your physical computer. It increases the efficiency of your
computer system.

DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION

(VMWARE)

1. Open the folder where the

VMware Player installer
was downloaded.
2. Right-click the installer
and click Run as
Administrator.
3. Follow the on-screen
instructions to finish the
installation.
4. Restart the host machine.

player-evaluation.html" and click "download" based on what OS your using

***Open your BIOS and enable virtualization in your BIOS/UEFI for (e.g. Intel VT-x/AMD-V)***

1. Upon starting up VMware

Workstation, select “Open
Virtual Machine”.

2. Open your downloaded Kali

Just search for any Kali Linux OS that fill up the requirements on Linux OS Images and wait for a
your computer and also for the VMWARE second
 RUN KALI LINUX USING VMWARE
