    CHARACTERISTICS OF CHILD FRIENDLY.

    SCHOOLS
     It’s child centered: CFS encourages participation, creativity, self esteem and psycho-
    social well being.
     Promotes quality learning outcomes: CFS encourages children to be critical thinkers,
    ask questions, express their opinions and learn how to learn.
     Provides education that is affordable and accessible: Especially to children and
    families most at risk.
     Promotes mental and physical health: CFS provides emotional support, encourages
    healthy behaviors and practices and guarantee a hygienic, safe , secure and joyful
    environment.
     Enhances teacher capacity, morals, commitment and status: CFS ensures that it’s
    teachers have sufficient pre-service training, in -service support and professional
    development, status and income.
