calculation when Moons observation for orbital period is
performed from earth then it appear 29 days 12 hours and 44
minutes, and in astrology for Chandra Mas (Lunar month in
astrology) appears 29 days 31 ghati (1 Ghati = 24 minutes.

then on calculation it comes = 31*24 = 744 minutes. And

(Constellation month). And it has value 27 days 19 ghati and
on calculation for this we get 27 days 4.5 hours. Nakshtra mas
are the time when Moon completes all 27 constellations in it
rotation of earth.
$Jupiter and Saturn moves in their orbit for 12 & 30 years
approximately, the calculations is more closer to the scientific
calculations because Jupiter and Saturn are so far from earth
than any other planet (Mercury, Venus, Mars). And the
difference of 0.09 & 0.50 years comes here, because science
measure planets rotation only around the Sun, but astrology
measures planetary movement around the sun with respect to
days of lunar calendar, and till moon completes its half
rotation of 1800 this “Shukla paksha” is mentioned in lunar
calendar.
Every 120 is taken as a Tithi, these Tithi’s could be vary from
21 to 26 hours. This is because sometimes Moon takes 21
hours to complete single 120 and sometimes it takes 26 hours
to complete 120 (As appear from Earth). But actually Moon
moves approximate 130 in a day and Earth also moves 10 in a
day with respect to Sun (In astrology Sun moves 10 in a day).
So Earth movement of 10 is minuses from Moon’s movement
and astrologers get 120 for moon. When Moon completes 1800
Earth. Like Moon needs 27 days 7 hours and 43 minutes to
complete Earth’s rotation, but if someone observes Moons
rotation from Earth then it is appear about 29 days 12 hour and
44 minutes.
# For Mars it is also same, that the difference between
scientific calculation and astrological calculation of 0.26 years
comes because astrology measures the Mars movement around
sun with respect to Earth, and science measure it’s rotation
only with respect to sun.
+ There is a big difference appear in the Mercury & Venus’s
orbital period. That is described in the phase 3rd with the
example of Moon and “Tithi” of lunar calendar of Indian
astrology.

Mercury and Venus have large calculation difference b/w
scientific & astrological calculations. Basically Mercury and
Venus also have same concept that this difference comes here
because astrology measure their orbital period around Sun in
respect to the Earth. But other planets like Mars, Jupiter &
Saturn have smaller difference in compare to these two planets.
First it is necessary to understand that why this difference
comes out. For this an example in Fig 2 (Formation of “Tithis”
in lunar month)of Moon, Sun & Earth is taken below,

In Fig 2 (formation of “Tithis” inlunar month) Sun, Moon &
Earth is shown in a specific formation of $PDYDV\D 1HZ
of its path then that day is known as 3RRUQLPD)XOO0RRQ,
And from next day Krishna Paksha starts.
So same as Moon astrology measure the movement of
Mercury and Venus with the Earths movement. But because of
high speed of Mercury and Venus they go ahead from Earth
and hide behind the Sun, so this condition is known as being
“Asta” in astrology. And again because of their high speed
they appear at the same position with respect to Sun and Earth
(means in the same sign) then this condition is called “Vakri”,
means astrology says that Mercury made its movement
backward in “Vakri” condition and its degrees get decreases.
That difference of 0.09, 0.50 & 0.26 years in calculation of
Jupiter, Saturn and Mars calculation comes because of the
same reason. This is why astrologers say Sun and Moon never
get “Vakri”.
With the help of astrological calculation an experiment was
performed in USA in 1983, in which scientists asked to an
astrologer to make a “Natal chart” on given conditions, and
when astrologer made that chart and those information’s of
chart gets cross checked by the scientists then they get result
that the planets at the same position in space as they calculated
with scientific calculation.

to show the similarity in astrological and scientific calculation.

in the same group of stars gravitational area. For second
observation it could be seen that Sun and Mercury is located in
the “7th” no. in Natal chart, and in skymap image in Libra
constellation, it is define in first table that “7th” no. denotes
Libra sign. But Mercury located in Virgo constellation in
skymap software and in Natal chart it is located in Libra. So
this condition in astrology is known as being “Asta”. Because
in this condition Mercury’s effect on Earth is negligible in
compare of the Sun. In this condition Mercury is considering as
a retrograde planet (Going backward).

And other planets like Saturn are located in the same location
in Natal chart and skymap image.
III. FUTURE USE AND LIMITATIONS
With the help of this research work, computational
calculations and with the references of different manuscripts
like “Brihat samhita”, we can predict various natural disasters,
like earthquake, tides and many more. Because with the help of
computational process we can measure the current position of
any planet and can understand that when some planets make a
fixed combination in different consolations then what type of
disaster take place. Limitations for this research is that it can
make combinations of only 39 consolations (12 big and 27
small) and 7 planets and 2 imaginary points (Known as Rahu &
ketu).
IV. CONCLUSION
Using different content from research papers, books and
online data three phases of this experiment for paper were
performed. By first and second phase of the paper values of
orbital period for planets could be calculated, from scientific
and astrological method. And from the third phase of the
experiment it is measured that what is the difference b/w both
calculations. From third and second phase it also can be
observed that why this difference is occur. In second phase the
value for Moons orbital time  GD\V  KRXUV calculated
same for the scientific and astrological method.

Basically science and astrology have different methods to
observe planetary movement and their orbital time, because of
this difference the little difference occur (but this difference is
also right scientific calculations done in astrological way and
references). It could be seen from the two images of the third
phase that by both the calculations planets located at the same
location. So there is no need to connect astrology with
spirituality. Astrology is a science and has its independent
values.
