• Do you remember wyswyg?

2
Conscious and subconscious
• Conscious and subconscious are not two minds,
but merely two spheres of activity within one
mind

3
• Conscious mind is the reasoning mind which
also refers to objective mind because it deals
with outward objects

4
• Conscious mind is aware of the objective world
through five physical senses
• It is our guide and director in our contact with
our environment
• Our objective mind learns through observation,
experience, and education

5
• Subconscious mind also refers to subjective
mind that is aware of its environment, but not
by physical senses
• Subjective mind perceives by intuition that also
functions as the seat of our emotions and the
storehouse of memory

6
• Subjective mind performs the highest functions
when objective senses are not functioning

7
• It is that intelligence that makes itself known
when the objective mind is suspended or in a
sleepy, drowsy state

8
• Subjective mind sees without the use of the
natural organs of vision. It has the capacity of
seeing (clairvoyance) and hearing (clair-
audience) events that are taking place elsewhere

9
10
• Our subjective mind can leave our
body, travel to distant lands, and
bring back information that is
often of the most exact and
truthful character

11
12
• Through our subjective mind we
can read the thoughts of others,
read the contents of sealed
envelope, or intuit the information
on a computer disk without using a
disk drive

13
14
• Conscious mind does not have the
ability to argue or dispute what is
told. If we give it wrong
information, it will accept it as true

15
16
The principle of subconscious mind

• Your subconscious mind is the principle

• It works according to the law of belief
• The law of your mind is the law of your belief
– The belief in your mind is the thought of your mind

17
18
• Targeting your thoughts – or what scientists
ponderously refer to as ‘intention’ and
‘intentionality’ – appeared to produce an energy
potent enough to change physical reality. A
simple thought seemed to have the power to
change our world

19
Affecting physical reality
• An outlandish premise in The Intention
Experiment:
thought affects physical reality

20
• A sizeable body of research exploring the
nature of consciousness…shows that thoughts
are capable of affecting everything from the
simplest machines to the most complex living
beings

21
• The evidence suggests that human thoughts and
intentions are an actual physical ‘something’
with the astonishing power to change our
world. Every thought we have is a tangible
energy with the power to transform. A thought
is not only a thing; a thought is a thing that
influences other things

22
• [A quantum experiment] implies that
reality is not fixed, but fluid, or mutable, and
hence possibly open to influence

23
Intention?
• Some experiments have concentration on mind/
thought that affects reality
• The Mind Science Foundation, Texas, and later
The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology
demonstrated that human thoughts can affect
the direction in which fish swim, the movement
of other animals such as gerbils, and the
breakdown of cells in the laboratory

24
• Other experiments have been done on the effect
of intention on living things
• A diverse number of researchers demonstrated
that human intention can affect an enormous
variety of living systems: bacteria, yeast, algae,
lice, chicks, mice, gerbils, rats, cats, and dogs

25
• Intention has variable effects that depend on the
state of the host, and the time and the place
where it originates
• Intention has already been employed in many
quarters to cure illness, alter physical processes
and influence events

26
• It is not a special gift but a learned skill, readily
taught
• The power of an intention multiplies,
depending upon how many people are thinking
the same thought at the same time

27
How?
• Hypnosis is the way of realising our intention

28
• What is hypnosis? It is a way of
going to khushu state (alpha-theta
brain wave state)

29
