Leadership statement
Leadership skill is crucial to be implemented in an individual as it not only helps to improve
oneself but also able to motivate people surrounding to cooperate well while working
together. There are a lot of people out there who possess the character of a good leader.
Oprah Winfrey is one of the most successful American television hosts who is famous for her
character. She has been my inspiration and a leadership role model because of her confidence
and inspiring character. Something that I have learnt from her character is to always inspire
other people and make a good connection with people you work with. I believe that a
successful leader should be able to inspire, confident about what they are doing, supporting,
have humility and build meaningful relationship with the people they work with. Every time I
have assignment to do with my group mates, implementing the character of being supportive,
humble and build meaningful connection with my team has led me to a positive outcome.

When I was in high school, I was assigned to be a leader for the Girl Guide Scout in my
school. It was a tough task as I should make decision myself for the members. Somehow, the
success of our achievement depends on us. That was the moment of realisation about the
important of being a good leader with qualities that can success the team.
