DUAL COMPLETION EQUIPMENT
B & W Dual String Spider/Elevators
TESCO offers specialized B & W dual string spider/
elevators that feature enhanced maneuverability and
control options. With this equipment, the tubing strings
can be raised or lowered individually and the operator can
level the strings at any time and control the landing point
of each string. The slips are pneumatically controlled
and the operator maintains complete power operation
from the console which can be located anywhere on the
rig floor.
Accidental release of a string into the hole is prevented
by the exclusive B & W automatic safety setting feature.
When a string is released from one set of slips, the other
sets automatically and in case of air supply loss, all slips set
automatically thus providing added security on the job.

Hillman-Kelley 500-C Dual String Power Tongs
Additional Specialized equipment offered by TESCO
includes the Hillman-Kelley 500-C Dual String Power
Tong. This compact, powerful tong weighs only 400 lbs.
yet it efficiently powers in either direction, no need to turn
over to makeup or breakout. Switching from makeup
to breakout can be done in seconds and the tong can be
easily operated from front, sides or real.
The Hillman-Kelley 500-C is also available complete with
the Hydraulic Dual String Back-Up, making it a vastly
safer system for dual string work.
