This research aims to focus on the difference between the General

English and the Legal English or "Legalese". According to Cornell Law
School (1), "Legalese refers to specialized terminology and phrasing used
by those in the Legal Field". According to Law Insider (2), "A legal
document is any document affecting the legal rights of any person
including, but not limited to, any deed, mortgage, will, trust instrument,
contract or any document filed in any court, quasi-judicial or
."administrative tribunal

Moreover, Legalese has distinctive features than General English, such as

Legal maxims, loan words, and Special anaphoric Devices (Prepositions
like words). According to Writing Law (3), "Legal maxims are established
principles of law that are universally admitted. They are mostly Latin
words". As: 1- De Minimis Non Curat Lex.(3)
