VI. Years (point of time and length of time): cardinal number + nen Examples: 2005 – nisengonen
one year – ichinen What year/How many year? – nannen

VII. Hours (point of time): cardinal number + ji Example: ichiji – one o’clock What time? -- nanji
Exception: yoji – four o’clock
VIII. Hours (length of time) cardinal number + jikan Example: ichijikan – one hour How many hours? – nanjikan
Exception: yojikan – four hours

IX. Minutes (point of time and length of time): cardinal number + fun
Examples: nifun – 2 minutes; gofun – 5 minutes
Exceptions: ippun – 1 minute; sanpun – 3 minutes; yonpun – 4 minutes; roppun – 6 minutes; happun – 8 minutes; jippun/ juppun – 10 minutes
