The importance of being able to handle a second language today is something important,
this is because many of us can have the opportunity to go to other countries and the English
language is a language that is spoken worldwide.

As my own experience, I could say that I had the opportunity to travel to the United States
and that is where we realize the importance of this language and the scope and
opportunities that can be had by the simple fact of speaking this language.

Many times we do not give the necessary importance to the English class at school where
we can learn basic concepts that could make us a little easier, even when ordering some
food. I had the opportunity to work for a company in which there were only 4 Latinos and
the rest were originally from that country and it is difficult not being able to understand and
at first we did it by signs.

My boss gave me the opportunity to enter an English school and this made it much easier
for me as the course progressed, I was learning to understand it and half speak it, as an
anecdote I remember that I went to buy a hamburger and asked for it without meat and with
that certainty and when they give me the hamburger and it doesn't have meat it was funny.

At that time, I decided to have a second language and the little I was able to learn helped
me to grow professionally and personally.

Many times we think that because we are in our country we will not need to learn a second
language, nowadays it is a necessity because many companies have English as a second
language as a requirement.

and by having it, many opportunities are opened up which as professionals we can take
advantage of and without being afraid of being able to generate conversations, today we
also have to think about the fact that we live in tourist areas where many foreigners visit us
and this and the majority speak the English language.
