1. Discuss English language proficiency using your own words.

Since I was in kinder, I already encounter English as language used in learning. From ABCs,
shapes, numbers, and many more, I could say that these were the first lessons I learned using this language.
English is known as the second language of many Filipinos. According to the studies, Filipinos are the ones
that are good in speaking this language.

As far as I know, the English language proficiency is something that students have to learn in
school. The reason is to let them be comfortable in using this for communicating. Future professionals
should know how to use, it because in the future, this is what they should use in their chosen field of work.

English is one of the easiest language I have learned so far. And also, the useful one. There is only
four skills we need to develop for us to fully utilize it. Those are listening, speaking, reading and writing.
These things can be learn in school.

2. Identify the connection of the mastery of English as a second language to your future profession.

Having a knowledge in using English language in communication is practical. Since as a future

professional, it is the most used language in any form of communication. From job interviews, meetings,
emails, and etc. it is widely use not in the Philippines but globally.

English is known as the universal language. Having an idea about it can give you an advantage
over other people who only know one language, because you’ll open a door to a range of job opportunities
when you speak more than one language. You can also learn other language through the use of English
language. Lastly, a better communication with more people.

3. As future professionals, how may you use the knowledge of English proficiency in your future field.

As what I have said from the previous questions, learning English language is useful in any future
professions. Since it is the universal language, there are lots of things where we can use it.
