1. Relation Between Low 25-Hydroxy vitamin D and Depression

Low vitamin D levels are associated with depressive symptoms, especially in persons with a history of
depression. These findings suggest that primary care patients with a history of depression may be an
important target for assessment of vitamin D levels.

2. Assessment of Vit D insufficiency and cardiovascular disease risk

Serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels vary with geography, seasonality, latitude and altitude, presumably as
a result of sunlight exposure. Interestingly, the risk of CVD is noted to be highest in areas of increased
geographic latitude and during winter months, which parallels the trends where 25(OH) D levels are the
lowest; however, a direct causal relationship between 25(OH)D deficiency and CVD has not been
established. The prominence of this factor in CVD patients of BD can be assessed.

4. Vitamin D, asthma prevalence and asthma exacerbations

Though there was no significant association between vitamin D status and physician‐diagnosed asthma,
there was a strong association with asthma exacerbations. Some studies support vitamin D screening in
the subgroup of asthmatics that are uncontrolled and experience recurrent exacerbations. So a clinical
study can be run to establish connection between vit D deficiency and asthma exacerbations.

5. Vitamin D and Asthma in Children

A Clinical research to fully understand the role of vitamin D in the maintenance of

airway homeostasis and address the diagnostic and therapeutic implications vitamin D may have in the
future of asthma management.

6. Burning of Mosquito Coil (MC) s and Their Association With Respiratory Health

Repellents containing ingredients such as diethyl phthalate, diethyl carbate; N, N-Diethyl-3-

Methylbenzamide (DEET), metofluthrin, oil of lemon-eucalyptus, picaridin and ethyl hexanediol. For
more than 50 years, DEET has been the gold standard in mosquito repellents. The prevalence rates of
respiratory symptoms and diseases were higher in subjects using MCs, although not statistically
significant. Those living in smaller homes and using MCs had significantly greater morbidity. A complete
research can be run on this.

7. Silver nanoparticle-embedded polymersome nanocarriers for the treatment of antibiotic-resistant

infections

Resistant popular antibiotics can be conjugated with nanocarriers for greater penetrability, affinity and
bypassing resistance of the microbials. Detailed study on silver, titanium oxide, zinc oxide to analyse
their prospects to avoid resistance when conjugated with nanoparticles.
