STATEMENT OF PURPOSE Lam Angelica Arat, 25 years of age and a resident of Loboc, Bohol, Philippines. I am single and second child among the three siblings. I have two loving sisters. The name of my older sister is Mae Bernadeth and she is currently working in the bank here in Bohol. My younger sister is Jasmin, who's still in college. My loving mother is Isabel and she is a teacher. She is currently teaching in 4th grade in our town Loboc. My awesome father is working as a bag maker. All of us has different role in life but we prioritized our family more than anything. 1 graduated high school on year 2014 at Holy Trinity Academy, Loay Bohol. And on year 2015, I pursued tertiary level at Holy Name University in Tagbilaran City, Bohol with the course Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management and graduated March 2020. After my college degree, I wasn't able to apply for work because pandemic happened. The cases of covid urge and so I wasn't able to work for months. Way back in college, T have this part time job which is Tam a wedding coordinator. So on the middle months of 2020 I decided to work on my part time job since it had a very low rate of job offering on those years. I worked as a wedding coordinator Just aligned with my course which is also belong to hospitality industry. On January 2021, I worked as a call center agent at Task us in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. But i just worked there for couple of months because the urge of covid arises again in the city. I just continued working as a wedding coordinator, since there were few events that time until January this year. On June 2022, i applied as a Passenger Service Agent at Bohol International Airport at Panglao Bohol and luckily I was hired, I started working on July 18, 2022 up to present. After working this while | realize that having a master’s degree will be more beneficial in pursuing my goal of applying for higher positions with higher salary in Hospitality industry. Post graduate qualifications are usually a requirement for higher positions. This is the reason I have decided to take a 1-year course: Certificate III Commercial Cookery and Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management at Albright Institute Melbourne Australia for i believe that it will help me enhance and develop my skills. Gain more knowledge, attitude towards providing good customer service and overall personality with added benefit of learning about a new culture. Commercial cookery is my chosen course to be studied in Australia since | am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management. During college we had so many activities on school regarding on International Cuisines. And when I had my on the job training (OST) on 4th year college, we experienced on how to manage and familiarize Kitchen Department on the establishment. My aunt will help me provide my other needs where I can stay in her house for free.
