SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT(SCM)

There are 3 EMS and these are the Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP),
Manufacturing Effective System(MES), and Supply Chain Management(SCM).

During our observations and research that we have done in the Oasis
Resort, we have discovered that Oasis Resort only used one EMS and this is the
Supply Chain Management(SCM).

Oasis Resort has Supply Chain Management(SCM) and it has numerous

advantages in their organization through improving their operations from
end-to-end but it could also be risky at the same time. Oasis Resort wants to
ensure that they are providing the best quality service and better performances to
their customers in order for them to meet their customer’s satisfaction. Having
this is very important to their resort because this will bring them towards
sustained competitive advantages. Oasis Resort creates and produces a variety
of products using parts purchased from their suppliers and those products are
sold to their customers and guests. Example for this is at their cocktail bar or
restobar, they purchase wines, tequilas, juices, and other beverages to their
suppliers and they make those products to produce another products.
