Overview

The length of the foot is often used as a reference point for proportion in

art and design, and it has been observed that the length of the foot is

approximately equal to the length of the forearm. This relationship, known as the

"canon of proportion," has been used in various cultures throughout history to

create aesthetically pleasing proportions in art and architecture.

There has always been a perception that the proportions of certain bodily

parts are identical to one another, such as the neck's circumference being equal to

waist size or the length of the foot being equal to the length of the forearm. There

have been several studies that have investigated the relationship between the

length of the foot and the length of the forearm

We conducted this study to see whether there is in fact a connection

between the left foot and left forearm. We used 22 participants from Grade 11

ICT-Stewardship for this study.
