STRENGTHS: WEAKNESSES:

1. Shoppee is growing in popularity around
the world. It was the first of its kind
among online stores. Buyers become
aware of Shoppee's existence because of
influencers and celebrities promoting
Shoppee and its big sales.
2. Shopee is well-known for its wide
selection of goods. With just one click,
you can get everything you need.
Appliances, school supplies, skin care
products, gadgets, clothing, and other
items are all available. It contains a wide
range of products in a single app.
3. Shopee Guarantee is a notable feature
that provides consumers with peace of
mind by protecting them from shady
dealers and counterfeit or faulty goods.
The Shopee Guarantee works by
deferring payment to a supplier until the
buyer confirms that the order arrived in
good condition. The customer can return
the item using the Shopee app if it turns
out to be unsuitable.
1. There are some sellers who post
photos of goods that do not reflect
their original state. Because of the
model picture of the products, some
sellers misinform buyers, but when
buyers receive the product, it is
completely different from what they
expected.

OPPORTUNITIES:
1. The expanding market is one of the most
significant opportunities for the online
shopping industry. Even though most
consumers in developed countries own
electronic devices, many in developing
countries do not, and thus do not shop
online. The number of potential internet
shoppers may increase as the price of
electronics continues to drop.
2. Shopee can sell brands of goods in other
cities because several brands are not
available in one location. Buyers will

will fit, feel, or appear.

stores, entering these markets would
be extremely difficult.
4. Some sellers refuse to respond to
buyer questions. As a result, many
buyers are disappointed, and some

THREATS:
1. Because cyber hijacking is a type of
network security attack in which an
attacker takes control of computer
systems, programs, or network
communications, it could harm
Shopee's system.
2. Businesses like Shopee may also be
harmed by government regulations.

improve service, it forces a less
effective result and eliminates
competition dimensions.

quick buck off their illegal activities.

which is why the industry is so
vulnerable.
5. Apart from outright fraud, there's a
lot that can go wrong when it comes
to personal information on online
shopping sites like Shopee. You
must provide a lot of sensitive
information when shopping online,
such as your credit card number,
address, and other personal
information. This information can
have disastrous consequences if it
falls into the wrong hands.
