    SDG VIRTUAL HANDSHAKE

    Hi. My name is Gatik from VPMS Lohegaon, currently studying in std 6. I am very
    proud to be an SDG ambassador, SDG which stands for Sustainable Development Goals,
    also known as the Global
    Goals were adopted by United Nations in 2015, with the objective to make the world
    a better place to live in by 2030.

    Of the 17 different SDG goals, this year�s goal, for the junior section, is goal 5
    i.e., Gender Equality.

    Gender equality is when people of all genders have equal rights, responsibilities
    and opportunities.It's essential for economic prosperity, helps in building healthy
    & safe socities and above all prevents
    violence against women and girls.

    A certian fraction of society believes that males are better than females. Is it
    right? Of course not.

    So, I hope we will work together towards achieveing this goal and making our world
    a better place for one & all.
