Electronic Logs & Paperwork Policy
• ELD's will be used in accordance with the applicable Hours of Service Regulations
• ELD's will be signed at the end of each shift
• Corrections will be made daily
• Drivers will learn to use their ELD as intended and learn how to make applicable corrections
• Drivers will check messages, notifications and suggested edits in BigRoad daily
• All paperwork is to be handed in daily
• Incomplete or inaccurate paperwork will not be accepted, you will be required to make corrections
• Work shift start and stop times must match true and accurate on all documentation, including ELD's
• ​there is a 15 minute leeway however, you are PAID based on your electronic log.
• if there is a consistent 15 min (or more) discrepancy you will be required to make corrections

• Your pay reflects the time between shift start time and shift end time
• We do not deduct mandatory breaks from your pay
• The only time a break is deducted, is when you go off duty for personal reasons. Put this on your day sheet as
well so the office is aware

Do not accept unidentified driving if you were not

1. Address Log Warning & Violations (orange triangle symbol)

2. Read your messages

3. Change duty status to OFF DUTY

4. Disconnect from the work truck


a. From the Home Screen, tap the More button in the bottom Navigation Bar
b. From the More menu, tap Switch Truck
c. From the Pick a Truck screen, tap No Truck

5. Sign out of the app entirely


a. From the More menu, tap Sign Out

When the Driver disconnects from the Truck and shuts the app down, the connection between the driver, the vehicle, and the app is severed. This ensures that if
the Driver gets out of the work truck and into a personal vehicle, that the app does not incorrect assign Driving time (which cannot be edited).

INSPECT

You can assign more than one asset (unit) , for example if you are driving a truck
with a trailer attached. You will be able to inspect both.
