Butterfly

Group Name: Swarm

Group Behavior: In butterfly behavior there are things known as

puddling, patrolling and perching. Puddling is when mostly the
male butterflies get together and feast on extra salts and other
nutrients found in the water around sand. The patrolling and
perching activities all have to do with mating, when a male spots a
female that he may want to mate with he swoops down on the
perched female. Butterflies are more solitary than birds. Butterflies
typically live and migrate alone, except when gathering in groups
for food, water, and minerals.
