NAFFCO-EGI has been manufacturing hydraulic insulated aerial platforms for many years for lower
heights. Now developed higher range with foam filled boom as per IEC 1057 standard (European
Standard).
CONCEPT
Bare hands or potential working involves placing the technician in direct electrical contact
with an energized overhead line. The technician will work alongside the lines from fully
insulated platform. The technician works at the same potential (voltage) as of the line.
(Equipotential condition with hot line that prevents flow of current through operator.)
Equipment is dielectric tested at the best world laboratory.
TECHNOLOGY
“Foam Filled” Technology utilized in NAFFCO-EGI insulator booms is unique and integral to the
performance of the latest state of the art booms. NAFFCO-EGI Type II foam filled technology:
epoxide-resin reinforced by glass fiber tube filled by high density polyurethane foam (closed
particles).Completely complying with IEC 1057 and succeeded to fulfil all types of tests as per
section 3 of IEC 1057 specially:
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Model T 65I
NAFFCO offers a wide range of Aerial Access Platforms for Line Maintenance, from 9m to 65m
working heights. NAFFCO partners with world renowned partners to bring in the best in class
technology as per ANSI Standards and manufactured in Dubai, UAE. These platforms fall under
different categories like articulated non-over center, articulated over center, Telescopic and
Articulates Telescopic Aerial platforms.
Our platforms meet ANSI Standards and are CE approved and are known as reliable, high quality
products with low maintenance costs.
Achieves a redundant measure of security via the Dual Retention System on all cylinders
and boom pins.
Lower maintenance costs due to the use of non-lube bearings at all pivots.
Boom play/maintenance time kept to a minimum with the fiberglass boom’s infinitely
adjustable slide pads.
Lubrication is simplified by having single grease fitting on the rotation bearing.
Rust and corrosion protection is at its utmost because all components are painted prior to
assembly.
Operators can quickly and positively verify bolt torque by visually inspecting the torque
seal markings.
Machined rotation bearing mounted surfaces.
Inside surfaces of each boom are pre-painted prior to assembly.
Filament wound fiberglass booms.
No mandatory rebuild periods required, aiding in reduced down times/lower overall
maintenance costs.
Multiple chassis options as per the lifting platform requirement.
Easy access to maintenance and repairs.
LIVE LINE INSULATOR WASHER
CONCEPT
When high voltage working Insulators are contaminated from the environment deposits such as
sand, dirt, dust, salt, industrial smoke, cement, etc., it causes leakage of electric current with risk of
flashover and thus consequent loss of supply. The best and only solution is to wash these insulators.
TECHNOLOGY
With the CPSE (Constant Pressure and Separate Engine) system the normal tap water at high
pressure is atomized and cleans the surface. The equipment fully complies with new edition of IEEE-
957 / 2005 and provides compliance to IEC 61472 with minimum approach distances.

CABLE TEST VAN - 35 KV
The HVT-35 test van series provides a fully equipped system for cable testing and fault location on
power cables rated up to 35 KV. An innovative modular test van with a diverse functionality the
HVT-35 can perform a number of fundamental functions necessary for fault locations.
TransLAB5, the latest and most modern Transformer Test Van, is the ideal solution for substation
commissioning and maintenance of power transformers. The multi-functional three-phase system
cuts the testing time to a 3rd of the time when compared to conventional single phase systems. It
provides insight into the condition of every part of a transformer with a number of routine
electrical tests.
NAFFCO can solve power generation challenges with its mobile generator set trucks whether it is
an emergency outage, a planned project or a temporary surge in demand. If you need to power a
