The Ashdown Forest Fire in England

Forest fires do not only occur in Indonesia. Reporting from the BBC, there was a fire in the
Ashdown forest area. The fire in the famous forest area occurred on Sunday (28/4/2019).

The forest fire occurred at 21:30 local time. This was conveyed by the East Sussex Fire and
Rescue Service, Monday (29/4/2019).

The burned forest area has reached 20 hectares of area, in the form of trees and shrubs in
the Kingstanding area. When a fire occurs, firefighters immediately go to the scene.

The officers who came, about six crew members, struggled to tame the red fire. Their efforts
were successful, leaving at least four hotspots left.

One of the officers from the Fire and Rescue Service, Andrew Gausden, revealed that the
state of the forest, especially the shrubs, was very dry, so it caught fire easily.
