Hutang Tebing Cianjur

Hutan di tebing dua kecamatan di Kabupaten Cianjur, Jawa Barat, terbakar. Api
diduga berasal dari warga yang membuang puntung rokok sembarangan dan
membakar sampah.
Forests on the cliffs of two sub-districts in Cianjur Regency, West Java, burned. The fire is thought
to have started from residents throwing cigarette butts carelessly and burning rubbish.

Dilansir detikJabar, Senin (4/9/2023), kebakaran terjadi pada Minggu (3/9) malam di
Desa Jatisari, Kecamatan Bojongpicung, dan Desa Margaluyu, Kecamatan
Tanggeung, Jawa Barat. Di Kecamatan Bojongpicung, api membakar sekitar 2 hektar
lahan hutan dan perkebunan warga. Kobaran api tersebut pertama kali terlihat sekitar
pukul 18.00 WIB.
As reported by detikJabar, Monday (4/9/2023), the fire occurred on Sunday (3/9) evening in
Jatisari Village, Bojongpicung District, and Margaluyu Village, Tanggeung District, West Java. In
Bojongpicung District, the fire burned around 2 hectares of forest land and residents' plantations.
The flames were first seen at around 18.00 WIB.
"Korban tidak ada tapi lahan yang terbakar cukup luas sekitar 2 hektare," kata Kepala
Desa Jatisari Asep Prasida. Asep menyebut kebakaran diduga disebabkan warga yang
membuang puntung rokok sembarangan. "Informasinya diduga karena puntung rokok.
Tapi masih dicari tahu penyebab pastinya," kata dia.
"There are no victims but the area burned was quite large, around 2 hectares," said Jatisari
Village Head Asep Prasida. Asep said the fire was thought to have been caused by residents
throwing cigarette butts carelessly. "The information is that it is suspected to be caused by
cigarette butts. But we are still trying to find out the exact cause," he said.

"Puluhan warga langsung menuju tempat kejadian dengan membawa alat seadanya
seperti bambu, ranting pohon dan alat lainnya, kobaran api supaya tidak merembet
lebih luas. Padamnya sekitar pukul 8 malam setelah satu unit mobil pemadam
diturunkan ke lokasi," ujar Umardin (41) warga setempat.
Dozens of residents went straight to the scene carrying makeshift tools such as bamboo, clawing
trees and other tools to prevent the flames from spreading further. It was extinguished at around
8 pm after a fire truck was sent to the location, said Umardin (41), a local resident. .
