BPMS SELECTION EXPERIENCE

Stage - 1
This stage was a Technical Aptitude test which consisted of verbal and numerical
comprehension error checking and logical reasoning including diagrams and pie charts.
First few questions in my test were based on unseen passages in which I had to read and
understand a passage given and answer the questions based on that passage(s).
Then there were some questions based on mathematical and logical reasoning which included
diagrams, charts or graphs and minimal arithmetic was also involved in solving these
questions .
All the above questions had to be done within the time limit given for every set of questions.

Stage - 2
This stage was an on demand hirevue video interview in which we had to orally record our
answer to pre - set interview questions from BP which was followed by some aptitude based
questions . There were 6 Video Questions and 8 Multiple Choice after that.
My first thought to the interview questions which we had to answer orally was that these are for
someone with past experience , as it progressed I answered them with whatever experience I
had and to the best of knowledge .
Few of the questions were “ Tell me about a time you faced conflict in a team” and “Why do you
want to work in the energy sector and why have you chosen BP”.
I answered a couple of questions giving examples of a project me and some fellow cadets
prepared in the institute and how we overcame conflicts and anything complex.
In the MCQ’s after that , there were some situations given and I had to choose from the options
given below that what I will do in the given situation.
