Details of the process and your contribution:

PERSONAL INTERVIEW (TECHNICAL)

There were 2 rounds of technical interview. In the first one I was asked questions related to DSP mostly. They even checked my concepts in Microprocessors and C/C++. It lasted for half an hour nearly. But in the second round I was asked questions in my favourite domain which is communications.
PERSONAL INTERVIEW (HR)

My HR interview lasted for just 15 mins. The first question asked was which domain I would like to work and why especially in qualcomm. I was then asked to clarify the doubts about qualcomm(incase any) which i would like to clarify from the HR team and then i had a discussion for a couple of mins regarding the company.
SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCES

As this was the first core company for ECE I was a bit nervous but the panel members were very cool and very informal and made me feel comfortable during the interview. They were infact helping me out in giving answers. My second interview lasted nearly for an hour and I couldnt even notice the time, It was more or less like a small technical discussion I had with one of the panel members.
SUGGESTIONS TO JUNIORS

Just be confident about what you know and it is the way you present yourself which makes a difference between you and your fellow mates. Though you might not be thorough in all the subjects you had till now try being perfect in atleast those few subjects in which you are really interested in and in which you want to pursue your career. It is as simple as how planned and confident you are to get something you really want to do. - V.NIKITHA 21 SEPTEMBER 2009
