THE SHEPHERD WHO LIKES TO LIE

In a village, there lived a boy who was carefree with his father. The boy's father told him
that he was old enough to watch over the sheep as they grazed in the fields. Every day, he had
to take the sheep out to the grassy field and watch over them while they grazed.
However, the boy was unhappy and didn't want to take the sheep to the fields. He wanted to
run and play, not boringly watching the sheep graze in the field. So, he decided to have some
fun.
He shouted, “Wolf! Wolf!" until the whole village came running with stones to chase away
the wolves before it could eat any of the sheep. When the villagers saw that there were no
wolves, they muttered about how the boy was wasting their time.
The next day, the boy shouted once more, “Wolf! Wolf!" and, again, the villagers rushed
there to chase away the wolf. The boy laughed at the fright he caused. This time, the villagers
left angrily.
The third day, when the boy was going up the small hill, suddenly he saw a wolf attacking his
sheep. He shouted as loud as he could, “Wolf! Wolf! Wolf! ”, but not a single villager came
to help him.The villagers think that he is trying to fool them again and is not coming to save
him or the sheep. The boy lost many sheep that day, all because of his pranks and deceitful
nature.

Moral of short stories: It's hard to trust people who lie, so it's important to always be
honest.
 PENGEMBALA YANG SUKA BERBOHONG

Di sebuah desa, hidup seorang bocah lelaki yang riang dengan ayahnya. Ayah anak laki-
laki itu memberi tahu dia bahwa dia sudah cukup umur untuk mengawasi domba ketika
mereka merumput di ladang. Setiap hari, ia harus membawa domba-domba itu ke ladang
berumput dan mengawasinya saat mereka merumput.
Namun, bocah itu tidak bahagia dan tidak ingin membawa domba ke ladang.Dia ingin berlari
dan bermain, tidak menonton domba yang membosankan merumput di lapangan. Jadi, dia
memutuskan untuk bersenang-senang.
Dia berteriak, “Serigala! Serigala!” sampai seluruh desa datang berlari membawa batu untuk
mengusir serigala sebelum bisa memakan domba mana pun. Ketika penduduk desa melihat
bahwa tidak ada serigala, mereka bergumam tentang bagaimana bocah itu membuang waktu
mereka.
Keesokan harinya, bocah itu berteriak sekali lagi, “Serigala! Serigala!” dan, sekali lagi,
penduduk desa bergegas ke sana untuk mengusir serigala.Bocah itu menertawakan ketakutan
yang disebabkannya. Kali ini, penduduk desa pergi dengan marah.
Hari ketiga, ketika anak lelaki itu naik ke bukit kecil, tiba-tiba dia melihat serigala menyerang
domba-dombanya. Dia berteriak sekeras yang dia bisa, “Serigala! Serigala! Serigala! ”,
Tetapi tidak ada satu pun penduduk desa yang datang untuk membantunya. Penduduk desa
berpikir bahwa dia mencoba membodohi mereka lagi dan tidak datang untuk
menyelamatkannya atau domba-dombanya. Bocah itu kehilangan banyak domba pada hari
itu, semua karena kejahilan dan sifatnya yang suka berbohong.

Pesan moral dalam cerpen: Sulit untuk memercayai orang yang berbohong, jadi
penting untuk selalu jujur.
