Build Your Own Workout: 1000 Reps


Use this handout to write the exercises you chose from the Exercise List, as well as how
many repetitions (reps) you are going to complete of each. The total number of reps must
add up to 1000. Then devise and implement a strategy for completing the workout.
Record the time it took to reach 1000 reps in the space provided. After completing the
workout, answer the reflection question.

Total Time:1 hour

Reflection Question
Write a reflection about your strategy for reaching the 1000 reps goal. What other
strategy could you have used to reach the 1000 reps goal more quickly? If you were to
participate in this activity again, would you choose different exercises? Why or why not?
Answer: I would do exercises that I am better at for a longer amount
of time to make it quicker, as well as more diverse exercises to target
different muscle groups. I would probably choose different exercises
the next time around for the reason of focus on muscle groups.
Otherwise, no change is needed.
