    3 DAYS CLOSURE NOTICE OF OPERATIONS IN MALAYSIA FACTORY

    Further to all our related announcements earlier, the Board of Directors of Spindex Industries
    Limited (the “Company”) wishes to announce that the our factory in Johor, Malaysia (“Malaysia
    Factory”) has been served with a 3 days closure notice from 27 August to 29 August 2021 by
    the Ministry of Trade and Industry (“MITI”) for being listed in the Hotspot Identification for
    Dynamic Engagement (HIDE) system.

    The financial impact is not quantifiable, but is expected to have a negative consequence on the
    financial performance of the Group in FY2022.

    The Company is closely monitoring the situation and shall keep shareholders informed of any
    material developments as and when they arise.
