We know that recruiting volunteers is always the biggest challenge for volunteer
managers and organizations. With so many organizations competing for volunteer time,
it can be difficult to attract the right people to make them valuable members of their
team. So, when finding dedicated and dedicated volunteers seems impossible. Here are
some ways for organizations to how they could attract more volunteers?
1- Social media And other digital platforms:
Undoubtedly, one of the finest methods to communicate with your community directly is
through social media. Along with giving frequent updates on the accomplishments of the
company, Afif charity, we need to be sure to remind followers when we need new
volunteers. We plan to film a video of the CEO or current volunteers discussing what
they do on a daily basis and why they enjoy volunteering with to further personalize it.
Our social media channels are; Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. As these medias are
the most on trend and will help
We plan to use websites as well to post our volunteering vacancies and promote the
same link on social media.
The online registration would be through the websites.
This will cost us around 300 QR per month. Which would cost around 3000 to 4000 QR
for a year. The charity would invest more on social media depending on the trends and
season. Investment on advertising during summer vacation would be more as the
availability of target audience would be more and easy to reach. The applicants would
be free and would prefer to work during this time
To measure the results, we will be using conversion rate by channels, Reach and
engagement level as our metrics as it will allow us to understand which of the social
media platforms is having the greatest impact and has the most reach to our targeted
audience so we could focus on it more.

2- Advertise at schools and universities:
Students are aware that volunteering is a fantastic opportunity to network, gain practical
experience, and establish a resume. In order to welcome them to our volunteering team,
we need speak with officials of some universities that are willing to collaborate and
promote our volunteering advertisements. and newsletter advertising, go to career fairs,
and engage with students.
We would also use the current student volunteers to invite and recruit new volunteers.
Using some merchandise.
It will cost us 50 to 100 QR for a month. This advertising strategy will be implied every
alternative month. Which will cost less than 500 per year.
3- Host an open day:
Sometimes individuals are hesitant to commit since they don't know all the
information. Because they offer a simple method for interested volunteers to learn
more, recruiting activities like holding an open day or information session. this
would offer potential volunteers the chance to ask questions as well as provide
additional information about Afif charity. Applicants will have clear image on the
charity’s objective, the kinds of jobs vacant, any particular qualifications or
certifications required and much more.
This will cost around 1000 qr per month and thus will be held only twice a year
mainly depending on the season when volunteers are easily reachable.

available as a part of a special introductory offer rather than merely advertising it.
This will cost between 100-150 QR.
