CHAPTER ONE: Introduction

New venture creation is practical program that provide service
for the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Eggs are sold in crates. The name of the venture is EUGGIES
FRESH EGGS.

Eggs selling in crates. The business venture is located in Obuasi-

Brahabebome at the Adansi district. I started the venture with an
amount of GHS 3000. I decided to enter into this venture
because of its high demand in the market.
Some of the importance of the venture is to provide more room
for employment. Also I do take the eggs for a particular woman
and sell it to her in crates.

CHAPTER TWO: Summary of activities

I always go to the farm every two weeks to make purchase of

the eggs which is in crates. I started on the 18th of June, 2022.
On the first two weeks I sold 100 crates with the ranges from
27gh, 28gh and 30gh as the cost price. And a profit of 200gh
from that.

On the following two weeks, that was 2nd July, 2022, 50 crates
were ordered from my customers. Which I made a profit of
100gh.

On the last two weeks, 16th July, 2022, I sold 300 crates. And
made a profit of 600gh.

CHAPTER FIVE (5):

Some benefit derived from the egg venture is as follows;
Does not require lots of capital to start up
More profit was made
Great quality of protein
Rich nutrients
Good level of cholesterol
Great source of vitamin D
Challenges encountered
Due to some roads being bad, the eggs tends to crack. Since
there is an increase in feed the prices of the eggs aren’t static.
Recommendation
I will like to take this opportunity to advice that every small
penny counts so never underestimate yourself from starting up a
small venture.
Conclusion
I therefore encourage that, the department make an effort to
ensure that students takes the new venture studies serious and
more of the practical aspects should also be put in place. The
theory aspect shouldn’t be more.
