This document outlines a proposed plan to study the cocoa agricultural value chain in Cameroon and the effects of cocoa production and transformation by the Cameroon Chocolaty Company (CHOCOCAM). The plan has two parts: the first examines the theoretical and empirical frameworks and stakeholders in the cocoa value chain, while the second analyzes how CHOCOCAM's cocoa production and transformation affects the competitiveness of its finished products in the CEMAC zone in terms of pricing and non-pricing factors. The effects will be evaluated using CHOCOCAM's marketing mix factors and recommendations will be provided.
