Instructions to adjust Frequency Output Settings

In this Step by Step procedure you will be able to change the Frequency output span and values

The Frequency Output will determine the Flow showed on HMI screen. The range of this
Frequency output needs a signal from 0 Hz (low value) to 1000 Hz (high value)

Every location may use different system units (Oilfield, Metric, US) So you need to be aware of
the System Units used in your location (lbs/gal, kg/l, SGU etc.) before setup.

Use InTouch to find the Transmitter set up values for the Schlumberger unit you are working on.

1 Go into menu by pressing on the
optic E Button

2 Go down in the menu by pressing +

3 Select fifth selection ‘’OUTPUT’’

5 Select first selection

7 When reached a value that you want


to change press + or - Button and
you may be asked for a password if
yes proceed to step 8 if not skip step

8 Enter password (0083 or 83) type in


83 (easiest one) in the first 2 digits
by pressing either + or – button.

NOTE: Password for this transmitter


(Promass 83) refers to the model
number. For example, password for
a Promass 80 will be 80 or 0080
9 When password is entered. Press E
button until PROGRAM
ENABLED is shown on display
10 Now select by pressing + or – button
the needed value
11 When selected the needed value
press E button to confirm (display
shows: ENTRY STORED) repeat
step 5 till step 10 for all other values

12 Go through whole menu to change


values until finished.
13 Go back to main display by pressing
+ and – button at the same time and
repeat this step until main display is
reached
14 FREQUENCY OUTPUT 1 values
are now changed.
