1. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM


The time and the cost minimization in recruitment & selection process of Mahindra & Mahindra

2. INTRODUCTION OR BACKGROUND
Much of the time is wasted on unproductive things like the peons do not do their work in a proper manner. And the candidates have to wait for more time than the usual timing of the time of the interview. The candidates gets frustrated but as its a good name reputed company they ignore this thing. But this affects the goodwill of the company though the candidates do not complain about this thing.

3. REVIEW
I will be taking the review of the newly recruited employees. It includes a group of 10 employees from different departments. And those candidates who have visited Mahindra & Mahindra but have not got selected. The number includes 30 candidates. 4. DESIGN OF RESEARCH I have dseigned a questionnaire for taking the feedback of the employees as well as of the candidates. This questionnaire included the following questions. (1) What was the experience at the time of the interview process (a) Satisfactory (b) Excellent (c) Good (d) poor How was the atmosphere i.e. the environment around (a)Satisfactory (b) Excellent (c) Good (d) poor (3) How was the treatment given by the interviewer (a)Satisfactory (b) Excellent (c) Good (d) poor

5. ANALYSIS & INTERPRETATION OF THE DATA I have analyzed from this questionnaire that majority of the candidates are not satisfied with the treatment they are given and it also shows a bad attitude towards the people by the management of the company. 6. CONCLUSION  Recruitment process starts when vacancy is generate recruit its candidates through Employee referral, Consultancy, Advertisement etc. mostly the recruitment is done through consultancy & employee referrals. The advantage of recruiting through consultancy is the candidates with required profile are readily available & their striking rate is high. Organization gets the right candidates for right job. The advantages of recruiting through employee referral are, as the employee is familiar with the nature of the job he recommends the right candidate.  The organization makes the candidate comfortable throughout the interview process due to which the candidates come out with their right potential. All the job related quarries are well answered & the whole process runs smoothly. Vacancy created is completed within the stipulated time.
