Pathways
■ There are many College and University joint programs. In these
programs you earn a diploma first and then a degree.
■ Students can apply to MEDICAL SCHOOL at McMaster from any
undergraduate program
■ Students interested going into LAW, only need to take the LSAT
and have good marks from any undergraduate program.
■ Students interested in attaining their MBA (Masters in Business),
do not need to have an undergraduate degree in business.
■ We suggest that students STUDY WHAT THEY LOVE
High school Experience
■ University and College Reps have told me that they look for
students with “soft” people skills and a genuine passion in
one or two areas
■ Enjoy your successes and learn from your mistakes. You can
use these experiences in the future.
Stress
■ Managing Stress is an important life skill
■ Students are encouraged to maintain healthy sleep and
eating habits
■ Earl Haig’s wellness group COPE holds many “stressbusters”
throughout the year to reinforce these good habits. For
example we have therapy dogs come to the school
