RC-10 Firmware Release Notes

This document is to inform that a new version of Relay firmware has been released by
NOJA Power Switchgear.

This document provides information about Versions Relay 1.15.0.0 relay firmware. This release
also includes updates for SIM and IO modules. The latest information regarding features,
enhancements and fixes is included in this document.

Relay Version 1.15.0 has the following features implemented:

- ANSI 25 Synchronisation-Check Device

- ANSI 25A Auto-Synchroniser
- ‎Power Flow Direction Selection
- Modifications to Overcurrent High Set and Low Set Elements
- Moving Average Mode and Inhibit Trip for OV3 Neutral Displacement
- Variable Fast Key Configuration
- IEC 61850 Implementation - Manufacturing Message Specification (MMS) and Generic
Object Oriented Substation Events (GOOSE) Publisher and GOOSE Subscriber.
- Bug fixes and other improvements.

Note 1: There are limitations on the number of files which can be transferred to the relay from USB flash drive
Note 2: Firmware upgrade supported from USB flash drive only. Upgrade from CMS is not supported.

Compatibility Statement:

Relay Firmware V1.15.0.0 is compatible with CMS v 3.1.0 and above only.

Note 1: A new global control point for OV3 has been added. If prior to the firmware upgrade, OV3 is set to Reclose,
Alarm or Lockout, OV3 global control point must be turned ON after the upgrade.
Note 2: There is a limit of 7 files that can exist in the ‘updates’ directory of the USB drive – users must ensure that
only the files that are relevant for the specific environment are on the USB drive e.g. do not include a
language file that is not required.
