“An employee’s motivation is a direct result of the sum of interactions with his or her manager.

When we begin to desire something, we look up to those who have attained and maintained
that goal. In this case, the employee-manager relationship is characterized by the employee's desire to
understand what makes a manager. His qualities are regarded as the standard, and his disciplines are
replicated to suit the employee. The interactions create connections for learning the facets of the
workforce, which is an excellent tip for advancing and fostering development in the workplace.

However, not all managers are excellent and enthusiastic; some are arrogant and self-centered;
therefore, it is advisable to examine them through a magnifying glass. We must ensure that the people
we look up to are decent human beings, as we have looked up to them to advance ourselves and not
degrade ourselves to the sinister.
