Executive Summary
The four countries in the intel list, costa Rica, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico each had their own strengthens and weaknesses. Costa Rica had a stable political
environment and had an organization called CINDE, which allowed structured administration. They also had engineers who would provide the talent for the
organization. The language barriers were also minimum as people were proficiently well in English. A structured organization also provided them better
analyzed routes of trade and low level of threat from unions
Brazil already had a presence of tech driven companies which signaled towards availability of resources and infrastructure.
With advanced infrastructure, Chile had sophisticated training programs and a administrative structure, involvement of the government. They had an
availability of talent engineers. The country had also made a huge investment in technology.
Mexican Silicon Valley was very competitive along with outstanding engineers, technicians, and infrastructure. The amalgamation of which provides a
unignorable .
Political & Economic Stability- This defines the environment to conduct business without political hindrances in an economy that is ready to bare
the investment done by Intel. An emerging market would be a preferred choice.
Government Support- A proactive government providing tax rebates and incentives for Intel’s investment is favoured.
Labour Unions- Harmonious labour interactives are preferred. Rules and regulations should allow In
Technology Investment- this is inclusive of availability of talent and resources to build a pipeline of the same. Readily available sharp talent is
preferred
Infrastructure- routes to trade should be available with minimum investment. Land and region of conducting business should be easily available.
