The 2 diagrams below show favorite takeaways in the UK and the number of Indian restaurants in the UK.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.
The two diagrams below depicts information about the love takeaways different food in the UK and the amount of
Indian restaurants in the UK between 1960 and 2015.

Overall, we can see that takeaway food China and India are the favorites, and the bar chart shows that the number
of Indian restaurants in the UK remained steady during this period.

The pie chart shows that Chinese food constitutes about a third of total takeaway food. Indian food is in the second
highest belongs to Indian food with 26%. In addition, Italian accounts for one-tenth of favorite takeaways in the UK.
British food, with 9%, which is higher than Thai food with 3%. On the contrary, Greek, Japanese and Mexican foods
consist of the lowest percentage at 1%.

The bart chart shows the number of Indian restaurants going up during this period. The number of Indian
restaurants in the UK rose slightly from 1960 to 1970 about 1500. Between 1980 and 1990, the number of
restaurants increased considerably, approximately 3500. This figure reached a peak of 7500 in 1997. From 2000 to
2015, the data stayed unchanged at more than 9000.
