Plato's philosophy compares the structure of government to that of the human soul. Specifically, Plato believed that just as the soul has three elements, government should have three branches. Additionally, similar to how Plato stated the mind must be in charge of all, the executive branch must be the chief authority and above the other branches of government.

I chose government to represent Plato's philosophy because, similar to how Plato
describes the soul as having three elements, the government has three branches. Likewise, much as Plato stated that the mind must be in charge of all and the components must not be in equal position of the other, the executive branch of government must be the chief of command and must be above all other branches.
