Solubilization: May be dissolved in DMSO (10 mg/ml); or ethanol (4 mg/ml). Note, DMSO is the solvent of
choice in experimental protocols for adenylate cyclase activation. Do not use ethanol which inhibits forskolin-
stimulated adenylate cyclase.

Storage: Store desiccated as supplied at -20°C for up to 2 years. Store solutions at -20°C for up to 4 months.
Pharmacology: Extremely useful activator of adenylate cyclase (EC50=2- 1,2. A hypotensive,
vasodilatory and positive inotropic agent3. Induces stem cell neuronal differentiation4. Cell permeable and
active in vivo.
