On a sunny day like this one, sun shining bright like noon and sky blue filled with

clouds. It is
appropriate to go skiing. The ski resort was bigger than what you’d expect on outside,
surrounded by trees in the middle of nowhere. As I followed the path that led the visitors
inside the resort. The path ended on an opening from the building which lay an escalator
leading down underground. Under the surface of the resort lay a wide-open space with lockers
as far as the eyes could see, and places to put on, place, wear, and get winter equipment. The
space was illuminated by a mix of white and purple lights that gave off a retro-vibe. The air had
a somewhat sweet, herby, bready scent that could be smelled in a subway. After the painful
painstaking process of putting on the winter equipment, I emerged from another escalator
leading up into the ski resort. Which was greeted its entrants with a big archway that
complimented into a magnificent view of the mountain where the ski slope was shown from. A
humongous powdery slope surrounded by trees. I slid into the line that formed in-front of the
chairlift, feeling a little vibrating sensation as snow crumbled before my feet. The sun was
bright and warm but set aside by the freezing air. The air finally blowing in a fresh and cool
smell. The chairlift swiped me off the ground and into the air, up the side of the slope. At one
point noise that brought me close to a big machine called a snow blower that spewed out snow
at great force with a constant *whirring* noise that made it storm snow on the passengers of
the chairlift. Sometimes shrieks could be heard by people unsuspecting the sudden the snow.
The sky up above and the ground below could hardly be seen through the small blizzard that
blew my face with the cold. Small but a frenzy of stinging cold was felt on my unprotected face
as the snow made contact with my face. As the chairlift brought me out of direct impact, I was
glittered with small white powder melting and getting blown off by the wind. The wind wasn’t
that strong, but enough to send a loose hat or a hood off. I readied myself as the chairlift
approached the top of the slope. I landed with a thud, wind getting softer and sun shining
bright as ever. I slowly accelerated going down the slope gliding past people with my skis. I
turn and sway from side to side in an elegant motion forming the letter *S*. The wind blowing
on my face and frequently blinding me with dry cold gusts of snow and air. The faster I went,
the stronger the wind got, and the harder it was to control the skis that were shaking and
vibrating erratically as the snow crumbled before my feet. I finally turned sharply to the side,
decelerating me quickly and sending snow up into the air.
