Introduction
Understanding language is crucial because it allows us
to communicate and connect with others. Given that
many people use the Filipino language in our own
country, it is considered as our national language.
However, as time goes on, the globalization and enormous influence of
social media played a significant role in the westernization of our own
language, wherein it came to a point where we also use the English
language for our everyday use; creating a clear problem that some
people forgot our own language and replaced it with foreign language
instead of embracing our own culture.
Matter of fact, it appears that young
students are using the English language
more frequently these days, particularly
when using social media, as a result of the
strong and widespread influence of
technology, particularly among teenagers
who are enthusiastic about Facebook,
Instagram, Twitter, and other platforms.
The researchers planned to
investigate the actual and

To further guarantee inclusivity, validity, and
the accuracy of the data gathered, the
researchers also included respondents from
outside of Bataan. Thus, the survey's findings
are helpful for Filipino citizens in informing,
educating, and formulating plans and potential
remedies to improve the current state of the
Filipino language among young people.
Support
There is no budget required in this survey because we distributed
our questionnaires via social media, specifically via messenger,
which requires no money to do, and all that was required was the
respondents' support and an honest response based on their own
knowledge and understanding of the given question, which was
greatly appreciated as it enabled us to demonstrate the survey's
intended purpose. Furthermore, our subject teacher's moral
support, trust, and aid are also cherished because they helped us
complete the research paper successfully.
