Q.

1:- Describe why you want to pursue

undergraduate/Masters/MBA in (specialization).
Your passion for the subject. (max 100 words)
A.1:- The course which I am willing to pursue is
Post-Graduate Diploma In Marketing. According to
me, when it comes to communicating and
convincing people, I have never found difficulty in
anyways. And this is one of the most important
quality a marketing specialist must have above all.
Another quality a marketing specialist must have is
having creative and innovative thoughts to promote
and bring awareness about their particular
brand/product, and this quality is somewhat
possessed by me. In my opinion, specializing in
marketing will help me enhance the skills that I
already have and give me a wider knowledge about
how to think outside the box. Also, in a technical
way, a marketer needs to know how to perform
tasks like data analysing to aid in consumer
research.
Q.2:- Describe your school education and your
favourite subjects and how it influenced
your choice of stream or childhood experiences
that influenced your choice of
stream. (max 50 words)
A.2:- In my school days, English was the subject
that always topped my list of favorite subjects.
Knowing how to use language is how English ties
into marketing. The way you speak and the way you
write are both elements of marketing. Advertising,
public relations and communications jobs
immediately come to mind, but any job where
writing is involved needs someone with a good
command of English.
Q.3:- Describe your 12 th standard education
/undergraduate studies (with specialization).
What were the subjects you had to study? Which
were you good at? How did this education help
you strengthen your theoretical and practical
understanding of the field? (max 150 words)
A.3:- Initially, I gave my 12th as a science student but
flunked in a subject, therefore after a gap of 1 year,
I re-appeared for my 12th in the commerce field.
During my 12th , subjects like Home science, Data
Entry Operations, Economics, Business
Studies/Organization of Commerce and English
were to be studied. Out of which, I was good at
English and Business Studies. Business Studies is a
subject which helped me attain a good amount of
knowledge on “how a business organization works”,
“ how to increase sales”, “ how to select the right
people for your company” , “how to maintain a
good PR”. This subject made me realize my
strengths in marketing field as it derived all the
aspects of a good marketer. Strengths which I had
of convincing people, being a creative thinker,
having good communication skills were realized by
me while I studied this subject.

Q.4. Describe any projects that you have

completed. Give details of the project only
briefly. Focus on the difficulties your encountered
in the projects and how did you
overcome them. Pay attention to the skills and
subject knowledge that you picked up
by doing these projects. (max 200 words)
A.4:- Currently, as a management student, I was
told to make presentations on social topics. Topics
like Self-Awareness, Growing Social Problems In
India, Increasing of Crime/Suicide in Youth. Also a
survey had to be done on “Status of Women in
Society” where we had to research practically on it
by going to NGOs and then writing an essay on it.
The major difficulty in doing all these projects was
to get the correct and accurate data and
information regarding the topic. Researching,
analysing, making the project/presentation creative
and presenting and explaining my point of views to
the audience in a understandable way, these were
the skills I picked up while I worked on the projects
and also having a wide knowledge about the social
problems suffered in the Indian society was helpful.

have participated in and what interpersonal and
social skills did you develop because of that. (max

A.5:- There are several extra-curricular activities
which I participated in like dancing, singing, drama,
elocution, sports especially swimming and various
other competitions which came across. As, I have
always been a extrovert person and never stepped
back in taking part in any competition which came
across. As an extrovert person, I never had stage
fear and found it easy when it came to interacting
with a bunch of crowd. During my school times, I
was elected as the Head Girl because of my
leadership skills and a talent to pitch-forward to a
great amount of people. This is where I got my
leadership skills from. Currently, while I study
graduation, I am selected as the Vice- President of
the Student Council Committee I would also like to
add a few technical skills which I have learned like
Digital Marketing, Graphic Designing, Web
Designing and Knowing the Advance Levels Of
Microsoft Office.

and the major roles you undertook there.
Explain any projects or important work that you
had done there which was appreciated or has
helped the organization. What industrial
experience did that job or internship provide you
with and what was your realization at the end of
it? (200 words)
A.6:- As my father has a business in
pharmaceuticals, I use my free-time to learn a few
basics related to business. While I worked at my
father’s company, I used to do all the back-office
work and I was also taught how to present the
product to a customer and how to create awareness
of a new product which enters into the market. As I
mentioned earlier, I handled back-office work, I
became better and better at multi-tasking which is
also very important. I learnt how to follow market
trends which I lacked at first but later got a nice grip
to it. Being a management student, I also provided
my share of knowledge which I attained through my
studies like few business laws which people refrain
to know and understand. Also, I improved my
marketing skills while working there.
